This was a whole new level of weird, and not just the cellphone. She had a whole lot of feelings to unpack about someone putting a cellphone in her arm that she was going to have to unpack later. But right now? How the hell did these two not know what a cellphone was? "Guys, it's a cellphone?" She looked at them both, one eyebrow raised as if hardly believing what she's hearing. "You know, calls, texts, social media, pointless games to kill time when waiting in lines?"

Nope. They didn't know. "It's for communication. If we all have one, chances are it's to communicate with each other." If they got split up. Or if there were others in the house. That was also entirely possible.

"Earth that was?" what the hell did that even mean? "The song is called Hotel California. It's by the Eagles. Released in 1976." She knew every word and could play it on multiple instruments. Kate was a bit of a movie junkie. "I say we call bullshit on that one and find the quickest way out of this place." If there was someone waiting to stop them, she was going to make them regret kidnapping a werewolf.
