[The mechanic is still shaking, small body curled up right there against the corner of the panel with her feet settled next to the seam of the elevator - opener lying next to them as she tries to calm. She's not, though. She's shaking and a squeak escapes as the doors move, her body naturally scrambling for the letter opener again, but it's like a life preserver is thrown her way at the same time - relief flooding her at the voice she was speaking to.]

Thank the 'verse.

[Her voice cracks with emotion, followed by a few more in Mandarin as she gets to her feet and works to begin to pry the doors apart, pushing on the door opposite her and feeling it give ever so slightly, at least enough so that she can work her foot in as another point to push from.

Grunting from the effort Kaylee's voice gains a little strength from something to focus on.]
Just gotta get 'er open enough that I can slip out.

[She only spares one one glance around the elevator - as if waiting for something to jump out at her - while she pushes working her knee in too, impatiently, trying to push her body through the opening as it gets a little larger because she's impatient (understandably) to get out of this death-box. And though it takes a fair bit of her strength mixed with some sucking in and forcing her petite body through an opening that isn't quite big enough - so it scrapes her skin - she emerges and throws her body away from the elevator in a stumble, but she's relieved and completely and utterly thankful as she turns to the other woman with red-rimmed, wide eyes.]

Thank you! I got no clue how long I'da been stuck in there if you hadn't come.
