This is getting old so fast. I heard you and it sounded like I was getting close and then it sounded like I was getting further away but I never changed direction. It's like being in the worst fun house of all time. I keep knocking on the walls, can you hear that?

I'm okay, I think. Just...trapped in this room.

This is a horror house. I can hear something if I put my ear up against it. I hear knocking. Sometimes scratching?

What the hell? So there's several rooms between us now? ...I'm not scratching.

Okay, letting logic fall by the wayside, you knock on a wall. ~~I'll probably hear it louder than you do~~ I'm wondering if it'll sound different coming from another direction. Maybe your room is more insulated than my hall, you know?

Does a room being insulated change the direction a sound is coming from?

Yeah but I can't tell which one is you... It's like I hear it on my left and then I hear it further down the hall on my right a few seconds later.

I'm really tempted to just start kicking in doors. Stay away from the doors.
